Aims of the certificate course
In our Finance & Accounting module, you will gain the expertise to align financial goals with organizational strategy, utilizing systems for effective target monitoring. Understand essential financial management concepts, value creation, and corporate finance to confidently apply them, enhancing your strategic leadership and technological acumen.

Format & Timing: | On campus – Limited number of participants, 5 days |
Application process: | You will receive confirmation of whether you are approved to attend the certificate program the latest 3 weeks prior to the start of the course. |
Admission requirements: | Participants must hold a Master’s entry qualification (i.e. Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Magister or “Staatsexamen”) as well as at least three years of full time professional work experience. Initial leadership experience provides participants with further advantages. |
Assignment: | To receive the certificate you will have to pass the assignment of the week. The exam can consist of a group presentation during the week or a written assignment after the module. Subject to change. |

During the Finance & Accounting certificate program, you will learn about:
- Financial management, covering investments in real assets (also known as capital budgeting) and financing (also referred to as fundraising) for these investments.
- Investment options, including loans, stocks, bonds, etc.
- Evaluating financial risks and addressing them appropriately.
- Financial Statements & Analysis, involving the analysis of the organization using different methods and KPIs.
- Corporate Finance & Valuation, where you will finance and evaluate organizational value using different methods.
- Value Based Management, exploring various methods to steer the organization towards creating values.
- Financial Planning, encompassing different methods of budgeting.
- Alignment of Strategy & Finance, understanding how to plan financials with regard to the strategic goals of the organization.
